High Table Lunch: Attracting More Talented People to Oslo

WEDNESDAY NOV 15th, 11:15-13:00

We’re setting the stage for a captivating discussion with the topic: «What Can Oslo and Norway Do to Attract More Talent to the Region?» Attendance to this event is by invitation only.

In 2023 the Norwegian tech community will lack about 30.000 tech talents to cover jobs within our startups, scale ups and corporates, in private as well as public companies. To attract 30.000 talents alone is no easy task. But in this race, we know that Norway is not the only nation to run. The lack of IT competence is in fact a global issue. So how does the small country of Norway win the race over attractive nations such as the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada and Singapore?

The discussion will follow the famous format of the High Table Dinners from prestigious universities such as Oxford and Cambridge. Being part of a small group, you will enjoy a delicious meal while also discussing the topic of the day with likeminded people. After the lunch we will gather all your thoughts, reflections and suggestions into a brief report and suggest concrete actions. Based on the results we will know more if this will be suggested as political change and/or hands on actions to us within the technology community.

Who should attend?
Companies in need of tech talents, HR professionals, recruiters, team leaders… Anyone with an interest in solving the challenge to be discussed.
